Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), characterized by hyperandrogenism and chronic anovulation, are at a substantially increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes at a very young age. Dr. Dunaif will impart practical approaches to evaluation and treatment of PCOS patients in the primary care setting.
