Despite many effective contraceptive options, unintended pregnancy remains a major public health issue in the U.S. Women with cardiometabolic risk factors, including hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and hyper-coagulable conditions are at a significantly increased risk for morbidity and mortality if they become pregnant. This interactive, case-based session will review the latest evidence-based strategies to reduce unintended pregnancy and cardiovascular complications in reproductive-age women at risk.
