The interrelationships of pathophysiology in heart failure (HF) and metabolic syndrome will be discussed in this session. In addition, Dr. Blount will assess how current HF therapies can be used synergistically in the treatment of patients with comorbid metabolic syndrome, and evaluate the efficacy and safety of newly approved therapies for treating patients with HF.
